Fall, 2024 Daylong Silent Retreat

In-person Retreat, through Douglas College (instructor Tom Heah):

When: Sunday November 3, 2024; 9am to 4p.m.

Where: New Westminster Campus; 3rd Floor – Aboriginal Gathering Space

Synopsis: This in-person retreat will be focused on deepening your mindfulness practice and self-care. Guided still and movement meditation, and optional sharing form the foundation of our day together. You will be required to bring your own meditation cushion or bench, and yoga or exercise mat.

This daylong retreat is suitable for people who have taken a previous mindfulness based course, or attended silent meditation retreats. The retreat will be conducted in silence, except for the guidance by the instructor.

COVID-19 Safety: You are encouraged to follow Covid-19 safety protocols. Please do not attend if you feel unwell, and respect others’ use of masks and other PPE.

Cost: $50
